In his poem, The Sun Rising, Donne immerses the reader into his transmuted  candor with an apostrophe to the busy old fool,   inflexible sun that through curtains c on the wholes upon him, seizing him from the  mirth which no  period knows. This bliss, a passionate  savor, stimulates him to reinvent  humans within the  control of his  consume mind, a wishful  view from which he does  non  readily depart, much like a sleepy  shaver clings to the consequences of a dream.  In his address to the sun, he bids the  tonic,  scholarly wretch go  reprehend late schoolboys, and sour prentices, resembling a petulant  youthfulness  plead for more  era to slumber. His  summon to the sun as  spirited and pedantic evinces his aversion to the  burden that time poses upon his life. The rude, or saucy morning intrudes upon his rapture, a  prompt reminder that time ceases for  nada and for no one.  The speaker  so boastfully asserts his  powerfulness  everywhither the suns rays, stating that he could eclipse and  foul them with a wink,  yet that he would not lose her  band so long. This  plainly undermines his  affirmation because if it were not for those same beams of light, he would not  overtake his love.

 Donne certainly was aware of the ridiculous  spirit of this assertion; he appears to be attempting to accentuate the flaws in his  tilt against the sun, perhaps to  strain the  fury of a person in love. He continues this  tenseness with his  seize that all the riches and  grandeur the sun has seen all here in one  issue lie.  His frivolous  compliment to his love continues; he declares that he and his  prostitute are  prize not only to the ruler of the sky,  however all others as well.
